Remento, the family storytelling company, introduced the Baby Book of Firsts, the first line extension of its AI-powered storytelling platform. The company says the new offering is “an easy way for new parents to turn their baby’s first-year milestones, photos, and the stories behind them into a finished hardcover keepsake, without spending time writing entries or designing pages.” Remento brings those milestones and photos together with the details pictures alone cannot capture: what happened, who was there, and how it felt. Guided prompts help parents choose what to capture. They add a photo and speak into their phone, while Remento’s Speech-to-Story technology turns their spoken reflections into polished prose that preserves their perspective. Parents can review and edit every story, while Remento handles the organization and page layout. The finished book adds another layer of connection: QR codes play the original recordings, letting children hear their parents tell stories in their own voices, from their earliest days. “After my daughter was born, I took thousands of photos. But the little stories behind them were already slipping away,” said Charlie Greene, co-founder and CEO of Remento. “I wanted to save her milestones and all those little details without taking time away from being with her. That’s what we built this baby book to do.” Parents can begin during pregnancy, at birth, or months later, using photos already on their phones to revisit earlier memories. They choose the milestones and everyday moments that fit their family, with no weekly deadlines or requirement to work in order. The Baby Book of Firsts is available at www.remento.co/babybook for $99, for a one-year subscription and credit for one hardcover book. The Dead Pixels Society Podcast interviewed Greene in January, 2025, (prior to the successful pitch on “Shark Tank”) where he sharesdhis deeply personal journey, sparked by a childhood of cherished home videos and profound family experiences, which led him to create a platform that makes documenting life stories accessible and heartfelt for everyone.
